A Nostalgic Visit to My Hometown – Vaishali

Recently, I had the chance to visit my hometown, Vaishali, Bihar A place deeply rooted in history and spirituality. Known as the birthplace of Lord Mahavira and an important center of Buddhism, Vaishali holds a special place in my heart. During my visit, I explored the historical landmarks and soaked in the peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting a Buddha statue, where I reflected on the rich heritage of my hometown. Standing before the statue, I felt a deep sense of connection with the past, remembering how Vaishali was once a thriving republic and a center of knowledge. Walking through the streets of Vaishali brought back childhood memories—festivals, fairs, and the warmth of the local people.
